Scuba Club is the best!

2/5/2014
I’m writing this the next day, but all I can think about is how yesterday was nothing special. I had a 9 AM. Then, came back for a quick nap and onto my next class. Following that, I ran and then some insanity. It felt great. After that, I am trying to get into Yoga so I did some Jillian Michaels. Dude, yoga is hard! I couldn’t make it through the entire thing. I decided to try something else. I tried the insanity recovery, which I think is also just yoga. Then, couldn’t make it through that either. This stuff is hard. OK its yoga, how is that hard? Yoga…
I finished off with some meditation and Zen. I liked it. Cleared my head. But, by the time I finished, it was 4. Class starts at 4 but you know what, my class is next door, so I’m only about 3 minutes late. No worries, that’s why I LOVE where I live, so perf merf. I leave when class starts and in Dublin, that’s on time. So, I showed up to my Spanish class, which only had about 8 people by this time. HAHA
After class, met with my group for our presentation that counts for I think 35% of our grade. I did the entire presentation because I needed to just finish it, or start. Me and my anxiety. Or me and just trying to stop worrying about that.
My group is real chill. This is where I met Liam. I found out later that Liam was high. He is very functioning when he is high. I’ll give him that. Well, he is selling spliff to my friends, so I walked him over. Every time this kid and I talk, it’s so easy. We never have nothing to talk about. It’s great. Well, I still hadn’t showered but showed up to Colin and Jeff’s room. They were going to smoke and then eat at this place that they compared to really really good fast food. I wasn’t really invited and I still hadn’t showered so thought I should do that. But I asked them if they would be up the pub on campus after. They said they wanted to save money for London which they went to today. Legit reason, but I wanted to do something.
Well, went home, ate and then was pretty bored. Oh yes, some showering in there too. I watched some gymnastics and really wanted to do something. Even my roommates weren’t home. But by like 930, they were! I went in the kitchen to get the vacuum cleaner and they were there. I decided, for the first time, maybe some bonding…I had nothing else to do.
Well, I found out they went to their gym induction, which is what you have to do to be able to use the gym. Takes about 30 seconds, but took them 3 or 4 weeks to do. They stopped at the pub, and then came home. They finished 2 bottles of wine. But I would say that Jenn finished at least 1 by herself. I found out one of the girls, Jenn from Villanova, was in Alpha Gamma Delta for a year and a half. Then, I would say this is when judgments started. Casey, my roommate, kissed Jenn, my other roommate. This is the 18th girl she’s kissed and she was super proud of it. That was weird. And, she was a total Cynthia! Crazy! Total. I told her she needed to text a guy and she said she just about had no guy to text in her phone….uhhh signs? Anyways, by the end of the night, or by 1030 PM Villanova was puking. By about 11 I think Kristin also puked but she was affair functioning. I left around 1030 cause I was totally sober and wanted to get up early before class, but that didn’t work out because I was too tired. Well, I should’ve known that. For the first time I got to sleep in my academic career, I just feel bad doing it.
Chelsea did amazingness with my schedule of traveling events. She did work! The most amazing shiznets EVER! She needs to be a travel agent. I freaking loved it and she was great at it. I can’t stop talking to her about it, it’s great and perfect. She’s so smart.
Before I went to bed, I finally got to talk to Adam. We were supposed to Skype I think like 2 days ago, but that didn’t ever happen. I don’t know what to think. Merp. Well, it was great talking to him and he always makes me laugh but I always end up with mixed emotions, which could be a good thing.
I miss my daddy though the mostest. I haven’t gotten to talk to him at all and miss him so so much. Especially, being able to call him on my walks home.

This morning, definitely tried sleeping in but really that doesn’t happen because I wake up and don’t sleep. Ever. I should just give up on that haha. Well, class and then running, which felt like old times (great feeling), and then some great insanity time, ate and then class at kinda around 2. But the professor, which I explained earlier, who we are really confused about and his lifestyle, told us to be there at 2 even though class starts at 3 and we would only need like 5 minutes to go over the homework….so I showed up at 2:45. Good stuff. And I was totally fine.
Then, I started Creo, for the manufacturing class. That was pretty simple and I worked with Ana on it. Our TAs, or one, is totally really hot! Ugh. So cute. He is doing masters in mechanical engineering. J We talked for a long time! I don’t know what it is about these engineers and Dubliners; they’re so easy to talk to. We talked about surfing and Chicago and traveling and life and my crazy professor and what is up with him haha
Well, I finished just in time for trampoline club, but a little late cause crazy professor was trying to talk to me at the same time I was leaving. He was telling me about the pubs to go to haha. So, on my way to Tramp Club. Got there and took about 5 turns. I like it but 5 turns in 2 hours isn’t much and is a little boring. Especially cause I get cold in between. I signed up for a tramp competition the week before mid-semester exams. I am not sure how I feel about it yet. Have to talk to Chelsea to put it in my schedule of events. I put my first routine together. It felt so good. It’s more about being able to put combine a lot of tricks than anything which I found.
Then, off to meeting with the scuba instructor, or one of them. I went to the wrong building so we ran out of time to get me scuba gear. This guy, Maxime, is studying at UCD from France. When I finally found him about 20 minutes late, he was standing outside waiting for me and was cold. I felt really bad. But he made me feel bad, at least I also felt bad but he like kept talking about it and I didn’t like it. He is also very hard to understand and he’s French, and made me feel uncomfortable.
Anyways, I met with the crossover PADI divers. We had a little meeting about what we should look forward to. It was pretty cool. All really fast, I think he did the entire PowerPoint in like 5 minutes or less. Well, I met this guy who has best friends in Chicago and I talked to him for a long time. We went to the Pub on campus and had some drinks; well I had tea that the guy paid for J. We talked the ENTIRE time. I LOVE THE SCUBA CLUB! Except, they are all a lot older than me. Well, I can’t go on the St Paddy’s trip, but definitely don’t want to have to pay all the money to cross over if I only go on a few dives. They are going to try to figure something out so that I don’t have to pay all the money.
I asked them about Connemara. I told them I am looking to do a half marathon there and they said that they could try and make a scuba trip there and then I could run the other day!!!!!!!!!!!!! How sweet is that! So accommodating in every way possible! They are so nice! I think I might do a trip Easter weekend with them too. They are all about them pubs haha. I think they look more forward to that then to the scuba, not really but they might.
After, I had to try on scuba gear. Wet suits and all with Maxime. He is weird and I don’t like him. But I had to in the cold weather. Usually, you have to have your own but they helped me with everything! I walked back and then finally came home to eat and sleep and now I’m watching Don John. So far good movie. Oh yes, I watched Blue Jasmine, that was also a good movie.
Anyways, not sleeping hits me and I’m tired. Tomorrow I am meeting with a professor after class. He’s also a funny, comical, cute professor. We have a mid-semester exam in 3 weeks and I would say I am not prepared at all, but hopefully this helps. If not, I will be meeting him more.

GOOD NIGHT! :D
